Isn’t it awesome when you get something you want, by taking absolutely no action to get it?
That happened for me once.
I wanted a Happy Meal so I snapped my fingers and it materialized right in front of me. Then I decided I wanted to ride an elephant, stepped outside and found Dumbo waiting in my backyard.
When I had the desire to fly and shot off through the air I knew something was up… this was my first experience with lucid dreaming.
Too bad real life doesn’t work way.
I mean how many times have you honestly gotten something worth having by doing absolutely nothing?
Even those who were spoiled brats as kids had to at least take the action to ask for what they wanted in order to get it.
This website, is anti “quick-fix” American mentality, more than Band-Aids and aspirin.
You don’t know it yet, but you just stumbled upon a landmine.
One that’s going to blow-up the crud you no longer want in your life and replace it with sheer exhilaration.
It won’t be easy, but it will be worth it.
This framework is so easy and simple to understand, that the world’s biggest dummy could use it to create permanent change in any areas of his life.
I know because I was that dummy.
Once you apply this system on one thing and see the results, you’ll never feel the need to read another self-help book, post, or quote image again.
And what if you want to start doing things to upgrade your life, but don’t know where to start?
You’ll learn where to start, you’ll find the most authentic next step that is appropriate for you.
That was the hardest step for me. I didn’t know if I should start by focusing on my flabby body, messy house, irrational temperament, or lousy brain.
You have to know who you are, to know what you want, to know what to do!
Do you know who you are?
Do you know who you want to be?
Do you know what you want to do?
If not then that’s where you need to start, and it’s time well spent.
Once you know who you are, you can figure out who you want to be and what’s important to you.
When you know that you’ll understand what you want to do with your life and why.
That’s the hard part. Then the infinitely more rewarding part becomes using habit specific strategies and tools to help you take empowering action to maximize your life experience.
Creature of Habit
Every time you do anything, you are making it more likely that you’ll do that same thing again in the future. I just picked my nose. If I check under the table in a few months I’ll likely find evidence of a disgusting habit.
While a few of the improvements you decide to work on will only require a single action or maybe a sprint of massive action, the rest will require hardcore iron clad habits.
Habits take time to build but once they’re in place there’s no stopping you. Take me for example, I’m on my 6th month of exercising 3 days a week with no misses, last night was Sunday and I had only run twice.
We got home at 11:00 pm and I was exhausted after a long day of kayaking, shoveling dirt, babysitting dogs, and playing Pokemon Go.
When I got home, I wanted to go to bed, but my body craved running more than sleep. So when the police officer drove by the track around 11:30 pm he didn’t bother to stop the lunatic who was running around in circles in the dark.
If this would have been back in January, I would have used something as simple as needing to poo as an excuse not to run.
Emotion and Intellectual Power Habits
Exercise is a great example of a physical habit but the most powerful change in your life will come from mastering habits of the mind, specifically thoughts and emotions.
And don’t dog emotions, as a guy I fell into this trap. You’ll see when you start using these techniques that emotional intelligence often trumps regular intelligence.
