It’s very common to wonder what people think of you. Many people worry about pleasing others and are worried that others will judge them negatively. The truth is, what other people think of you doesn’t matter.

What goes on inside people’s heads doesn’t affect you in the slightest. In addition, there’s no reason to worry about what they think because it’s impossible to know. If you don’t know something and can’t figure it out there’s no reason to trouble yourself with it. It’s like wishing you were taller. You can wish all you want, but you will never increase in height. However, wishing for extra height and being jealous of tall people hurts you without providing any benefit.

Even if you did know what people though of you, who cares? Some people will like you, others will hate you, and most will be indifferent. The truth is, most people are too worried about themselves to care about formulating an opinion on you. Rather than thinking about you, they are probably wondering what you think about them.

It’s tempting to wonder what people think about you, but it will get you nowhere. You are wasting time and stressing out over nothing. Instead of worrying about what others think, focus on empowering yourself. Focus on becoming a better, more compassionate human being everyday. Learn to love yourself and ignore what people think because the truth is, if someone acts like they hate you – it’s likely that they hate themselves.

Stand tall, smile, and walk the world with confidence. Ignore other’s judgements because they are not worth your time. You are a great person and you will be loved by many. However, you should recognize that loving yourself must come first. Otherwise, you will get torn down by other people’s petty judgements.

Honestly, what people think of you doesn’t matter. Stop wondering what people are thinking. Let it go, and you will become much happier. You will realize that when you stop caring what others think you have lost nothing but have gained happiness. When you are confident and ignore other people’s judgements, ironically, people will start to view you in a much more positive light.

Just remember at the end of the day people care much more about themselves than you. They care what others think of them and what happens in their lives. They don’t have time to make judgements about you, and if they do it doesn’t matter. They can keep their thoughts to themselves and you can live a happy life.
